STARTED WRESTLING AT THE AGE OF 14
First, He Started wrestling at the age of 14, Rollins got his wrestling career started quite young. He had a similar story to CM Punk, except the family issues. Rollins like CM Punk was also into backyard wrestling and did various shows in the this format. He even ran some of the show. He started this at 14 years of age with no training whatsoever.
When Rollins turned 16, he started considering pro-wrestling as a career. College at the time just did not seem right for him, so he invested all his time in wrestling.
He joined up with SCW the following year. In 2006, Rollins attended Wrestlemania and vowed to himself there that it would be the last Wrestlemania he attended as a fan. Next time, he’d be on the card.
Rollins then ended up in Ring of Honor and mentioned that eventual goal was to work through ROH to get spotted by WWE. He eventually became one of the biggest stars on the Indy scene and that caught WWE’s attention and the rest as they say is history.
ALMOST GOT FIRED FROM WWE
Rollins almost got fired from wwe, because when Seth Rollins was first hired by the WWE, Rollins felt that he was better than anyone in development and wanted to be on the main roster from day one but he was too high on himself.
He needed some patience and development and it was something WWE coaches were trying to make sure he had, but he was always found on the bad side of management.
Even when he was in NXT and was the NXT Champion, he always felt that he needed to be used on the main roster and would occasionally call up John Laurinaitis asking him when he was going to be brought up and John would tell him to be patient with it but it did not seem to work well.
And eventually he got on the bad side of so many that there were serious discussions about releasing him from the WWE, but luckily he changed and was able to calm down and then we all know what happened, The Shield made a debut.
CHAMPION ACROSS ERAS – ROH, FCW, NXT AND WWE GOLD
Seth Rollins isn’t just a champion; he’s a collector of gold across generations of WWE. He holds a unique distinction that no other wrestler can claim. Rollins is the only competitor to have captured the top titles across formats. He is the first and only man to win Ring of honour world championship, FCW championship, NXT Championship and WWE World titles.
Seth Rollins debuted as Tyler Black and was instantly embraced by the audience after just a few months and within just a year of his debut he won the ROH World championship in 2007.
FCW (i.e. Florida Championship Wrestling), back then served as WWE’s developmental territory before NXT. Rollins conquered this stage too, becoming the FCW Grand Slam Champion.
And later he became the first ever NXT champion defeating Jinder Mahal.
And we all know what he did in WWE’s main roster, he is the current WWE world Heavyweight champion, has won universal championship twice and has also won WWE United States championship, won WWE tag team championship 5 times and won the WWE Intercontinental championship at WrestleMania 34 against Finn Balor and The Miz, cementing his as a WWE Grand Slam Champion.
INVOLVED IN VERY UGLY AND PUBLIC LOVE TRIANGLE
It was in 2015, when Rollins personal life turned mess, as Rollins was cheating on his then fiancé Leighla Schultz, with Zahra Schreiber, an NXT diva at that time.
And when his fiancé found out about it, She allegedly gained access to his social media accounts and proceeded to post several explicit photos of Rollins and Schreiber on his Twitter and Instagram profiles without their consent. These images depicted Rollins and Schreiber in intimate settings and personal moments, including nudity.
The incident quickly garnered attention across the internet, with the photos circulating rapidly and sparking intense speculation and debate among wrestling fans and media outlets. Many expressed shock and disbelief at the revelation, while others criticized Rollins for his involvement in the scandal and questioned the impact it could have on his career and public image.
WWE TOLD HIM ABOUT MITB CASH-IN HOURS BEFORE TITLE WIN
WrestleMania 31 was the biggest moment of Seth Rollins career as he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win his first WWE World Championship, during the Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar title match.
Rollins later revealed that he did not knew anything about the title win until the middle of the WrestleMania show, just hours before the moment.
Seth likely thought his night was over after Randy Orton defeated him early in the show but he ended up getting his life’s biggest surprise later in the show.
And this also made him the first person Younger than WrestleMania to win the WrestleMania Main Event.
